Almost every rafting day sold in Sarajevo points at the Tara, roughly two hours away in each direction. That is four hours of the day spent in a van before anyone touches the water.
The Neretva at Konjic is about 50 minutes from Sarajevo. The same kind of river day, half the driving, and you are back in the city with an evening still in front of you.
That access advantage is the whole reason this page exists — and the reason this trip is usually sold to you by someone in Sarajevo or Mostar rather than by anyone in Konjic.
What €80 per person covers
The transfer from Sarajevo to the river and back, four to five hours on the water with a licensed skipper, all the rafting gear, and lunch at the base after the run.
It is one price and one booking. You are not paying an agency for the seat and then an operator for the boat, and no booking fee is added at checkout.
You pay a 20% deposit by card to confirm and the balance on site on the day.
Who runs the day on the river
Via Neretva sells the trip and carries responsibility for it. The day on the water is run by a licensed rafting operator based in Konjic, with their own skippers and boats.
As soon as your booking is confirmed we tell you which operator it is, the licence they run under, a phone number and the exact meeting point. Most guests on this river are never told at all.
Booking, deposit and cancellation
Choose your date and the number of guests, and the booking is checked against the operator's capacity for that morning and confirmed instantly — or not at all.
A 20% card deposit confirms it and the balance is paid on site, so the amount committed while you are still planning the rest of your trip stays small.
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. If we have to move the trip because of water levels, conditions or equipment, you choose between another date and a full refund of the deposit.
The price in context
The €80 is not a premium for convenience. It is the local price of the river day plus the drive, with nothing added on top.

Booked either way with us, the transfer is €30 per person on top of the €50 river day, so the all-in trip and the add-on route land in the same place. The agency route is where the same day on the same river reaches €70–91 — and where the operator is rarely named at all.
